LAPSED CAM UNION
being in the successive moment
< outline >
‘present‘ has gone in the moment at all times.
people are living generating tiny histories one after another.
the sign telling you were there,
the process of growing,
the time which we could never return again.
can we see this moment?
this work highlights the passing moment as afterimages and people dragging the minimal histories to show the aesthetic of being in the successive moment.
you are here, you were there.
I saw you, I see you.
< system overview >
the device has two cameras ( CCD-sensor ) , and each camera is set vertical position, also fixed half mirror is lay outed between cameras.
each camera is able to capture the lights from the same scenery with the half mirror.
and these cameras take pictures in long exposures in turn.
by this system, the device can take more afterimage photos, record much smoother time lapsed movies.
we are living in the successive moment.
